The maths faculty is solely responsible for the school's maths lessons. Maths teachers have a great responsibility on their hands as many of the skills taught in maths lessons are also used in other lessons, particularly in physics and the other sciences. Our excellent maths staff, aided by some high quality equipment (eg. graphical calculators) carry this responsibility well and this is reflected by our pupil's excellent GCSE results in both maths and physics. Maths is a compulsory GCSE subject.
