Top Communications System for Bikes - Autocom

I have just installed (April 1999), an Autocom Eurocom system. Works very well.

Autocom ST1100 Notes

Autocom supply free, a connector (recommended) especially for the ST1100, to supply a live feed from the brake light supply. They don't recommend connecting it direct to battery for live feed. They also supply, for £10, a fitting kit that I wasn't told about in the shop, although I didn't need it.

So far I have connected it to a small Sony, Walkman size, FM/AM radio, model SRF-M48RDS. This radio (no tape) has 15 pre-sets, RDS and EON, just like modern car radios. Also gives Traffic Information interrupts. Has a useful button to lock controls when going along. Appears to work well with the Eurocom. Comes with useful belt clip.
